# RIA Features AMT as Industry Experts in Cobot Article

 Published by [AMT](https://blog.appliedmfg.com/blog/author/amt) on Sep 5, 2018 10:18:31 AM

On August 28th, 2018, the Robotics Industries Association released an article by Tanya M. Anandan about the emergence of fenceless automation on manufacturing floors. AMT engineers discussed how analyzing each operating floor enables a unique collaborative solution to be developed based on the needs and goals of a business.

AMT also explained that collaborative technology has advanced the throughput capabilities and safety features of companies around the world. End-of-Arm and sensing programs allow FANUC robots to operate side-by-side with their human counterparts, improving the overall performance of a business.

To learn more, read the full article about fenceless robots on RIA's website.
