New Employees Gather for Bikes and Beers

AMT blog 10-milke bike ride

Blog post by Senior Human Resources Representative Judy Arbuckle

A group of AMT employees, including several new hires, recently enjoyed a ten-mile bike ride on the Paint Creek Trail with a stop at the Rochester Mills Brewery.

AMT hit the trail with the goal of taking in some scenery, sharing cultural traditions, and just plain getting to know one another. Bikes were borrowed and greased, and a few quick lessons on how to ride a bike were shared ahead of time. The group set off down the beautiful Paint Creek Trail, which runs from the village of Lake Orion to downtown Rochester Hills. A break was deemed necessary at the Rochester Mills Brewery, where we discussed some traditional food and customs of India, not to mention favorite birthday dinners in both the U.S. and India. Everyone returned smiling at the end of the adventure; not a sore bottom in the group!
