AMT Celebrates Tyler Bruder's Promotion

Tyler Bruder has been promoted from Automation Engineer to Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager at Applied Manufacturing Technologies.

AMT is delighted to announce the promotion of Tyler Bruder from Automation Engineer to Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager. This strategic move underlines AMT's commitment to automation excellence for its clients by providing high-quality ongoing support, maintenance, and service for AMT-designed systems.

The Service and Spare Parts division is responsible for maintaining the high performance and longevity of AMT's solutions. The group manages every aspect of aftermarket service offerings for AMT-built systems, ensuring a seamless transition from the engineering design and implementation phase of a project to continuing maintenance and support. Additionally, it oversees client system training, maintenance contracts, warranty support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance for any system issues. With a focus on providing responsive and comprehensive support, the Service and Spare Parts division ensures that clients can maximize their investments and maintain operational efficiency throughout the lifespan of their equipment. The group also fosters the growth of AMT's new hires by providing technology demonstrations and advanced learning opportunities for new engineers enrolled in specialized training at AMT’s Automation Academy.

Tyler Bruder holds a degree in computer science degree with a minor in business administration from Grand Valley State University. From his roots in West Michigan as a software developer to his work in IT engineering, marketing, and sales, Tyler's career journey is a testament to his versatility. His recent two-year tenure as an Automation Engineer at AMT has been marked by significant contributions and a forward-thinking approach, laying the groundwork for his latest promotion.

As a 2023 AMT RISE Core Values nominee, several of Tyler’s peers provided testament to his commitment to excellence as an individual, as part of a team, and for AMT’s clients. One specific nomination fully encompasses Tyler’s strengths and values: “As a young engineer, Tyler has stepped up in so many ways. We have seen him leading on the largest system that our group has undertaken. His value is not only in what he does, but by helping all around. Tyler looks [to see] where he is needed and jumps in. The team looks to him as a leader.”

Reflecting on his new role, Tyler expressed, "I’m honored to have the privilege of taking on the role of Service and Aftermarket Sales Manager. I'll be drawing from my background in engineering, as well as sales and marketing to propel our Service and Aftermarket Sales division forward. I've always aimed to stay at the forefront of automation engineering, and that’s really going to serve me in this new role. But additionally, it's about more than just staying ahead. Throughout my career, I've sought to exceed expectations while cultivating lasting relationships with clients and peers alike. I remain committed to my own personal growth and learning, as well as that of my group as a whole.
