The AMT Team Out and About

See where AMT employees have been in recent weeks, from a prestigious FANUC event in Japan to robotic installations with beach time!  Finally, meet two of our newest employees, who are currently enrolled in our Automation Academy.

AMT Mike Jacobs Craig Salvalaggio Japan 1

Founder Mike Jacobs and President Craig Salvalaggio attended FANUC's prestigious Private Show in Japan in May.  We are grateful for the partnership between AMT and FANUC!

Our fantastic installation team successfully installed a system at our client, a secondary packaging producer in Florida. They then spent some downtime at the beach.

The robotic cells at our client look beautiful in the distribution center in the Greater Chicago area!  The client's entire team laid out how critical the technology is in their five-year innovation plan.  The cells are ready for a clean startup!

Closer to home, we would like to welcome two of our newest employees!

AMT Shane Willemski Brad Vincent

Shane Wilemski- Automation Engineer 1 (left photo)

Shane is an AMT new hire, working under the guidance of the AMT Academy training team.  He is proving to be a quick study and will soon be joining the Factory Zero team at the GM Hamtramck Assembly plant.   Shane’s interest in Automation began during a 2-year mechatronics course in high school.  After graduation, he secured a job with Gabeltek Robotics and Controls.  While there, he received basic teach pendant training, but further development was not available.  Shane learned about the AMT and our training program from a family friend who encouraged him to reach out.  We are glad he did.  He is a solid addition to the team.  Shane’s hobbies include deer hunting, and he is a runner.  He put in many miles as a cross country runner in high school and still enjoys long runs on the trail.

Bradley Vincent- Automation Engineer 1 (right photo)

Brad has one year remaining to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  He is taking a pause from the program at California State University Fullerton, to get hands on experience in the field of automation.  Prior to his studies in civil engineering, Brad served 4 years at Camp Pendleton with the United States Marine Corps. We thank and applaud him for his years of service!  Brad is currently working alongside Shane Wilemski in the AMT Academy.  We are confident he will be an asset to AMT.  Brad’s interests outside of work include jiu jitsu, a grappling based martial art.  We won’t print the belt color, to avoid any unnecessary ideas of a challenge.  In addition to jiu jitsu, Brad enjoys the more relaxing pursuit of camping and spending time with his family.  He will fit in nicely at AMT.
